AI fails without the right data and context.

Your data is everywhere

Your business runs across disconnected tools. Teams spend time gathering data, reconciling numbers and rebuilding reports. Different metric definitions lead to different decisions. No single source of truth.

Data stacks are hard to set up and hard to use

Connecting and maintaining a data stack takes time. Your team spends too much of it on data plumbing instead of growing the business.

Your AI is confidently guessing

Agents need reliable data, shared definitions and business context. An ad account alone does not explain your returns, inventory, costs or contribution margin.

Give your team and agents one trusted foundation.

Build the central brain of your brand

Give your teams and agents a shared foundation of data, business definitions and context. Your whole org can now use AI and you can trust they are operating off the same ledger.

Agents and AI tools

Polar agents work in Slack and Teams, watch the numbers and act with your approval. Your own AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT connect through Polar MCP. All of them read from the same semantic layer.

Semantic layer

The query engine at the centre. It turns every question into a governed query, using your definitions, so every answer is consistent and traceable.

Your business context

Docs, plans and chats, connected like any other source.

Your business logic

Custom metrics, dimensions and settings, so the numbers match how you run the business.

Commerce ontology

400+ harmonized metrics and dimensions, already modelled.

Your data warehouse

A dedicated Snowflake instance, yours to query. Syncs with other warehouses and lakes.

Your sources

Unlimited connectors, built by an AI data engineer. Data flows in and gets modelled.

Ask business questions in plain language. Get an answer, investigate the drivers and see the definitions behind the numbers.

Know the definitions behind every answer

Set your definitions and labels once, and every answer shows which one it used.

Ask why

Investigate performance changes through root-cause analysis in chat. Follow the metric drivers until you understand what needs attention.

Easy to use and adopted

Easy enough that people actually use it.

Work where your team works

Use Ask Polar in the app, or connect compatible AI assistants through Polar MCP.

The AI Data Platform

You don’t need a team of 30 to set up a robust data warehouse. You need a platform.

Connect your business

Bring commerce, marketing, inventory and finance data together. Add the sources and business context your workflows need. Our AI Data Engineer Agent connects to everything that has an API.

Model it your way

Define revenue, attribution and margin the way your business runs, and adjust sources, metrics and rules as you change. AI-first, any operator can adapt data sources, metrics and business rules to your needs.

Accurate data foundation

Daily tests check Polar against your source systems, and the Metric Integrity Report shows you the numbers hold. Agents never query raw tables; they go through the semantic layer, where every metric is defined once.

You own the stack

Your data lives in Snowflake, not a black box. Query it, build on it, keep it. Polar is the Fivetran + dbt you’d buy anyway, with the semantic layer and agents on top.

Support all the way

From your move to Polar onwards, an embedded team works alongside you, focused on your growth.

FAQs

Does Polar match Shopify?

Yes. On the same settings, Polar matches each data source, so what you see in Shopify, Amazon or Meta is what you see in Polar. We pull everything from each platform’s API and recreate its logic, and a built-in testing and monitoring system checks every connector daily. During onboarding, we align settings like refund vs. order date, tax treatment and timezone so both sides use the same logic.

How is Polar different from Triple Whale?

  • Open, not a black box. You can see every definition, every touchpoint behind every order, and the raw data underneath.
  • Built for omnichannel. Shopify, Amazon, retail and wholesale sit in one flexible data model, with your own metric definitions.
  • AI you can trust. Our AI runs on a semantic layer, so its answers come from governed definitions instead of guesses.

What does Polar replace?

It depends on your setup. Polar can take over parts of the work you use Supermetrics, Daasity, Triple Whale, Elevar or your own data warehouse build for today. The platform covers everything from data collection to modeling, BI, attribution and AI. We look at where we overlap with your current tools before recommending anything to replace.

Do you connect to NetSuite, Amazon and the rest of our stack?

Yes. Polar has 1000+ one-click connectors, including Shopify, Amazon Seller and Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, Meta, Google, TikTok, Klaviyo, Recharge, Skio and NetSuite. Spreadsheets come in through Google Sheets. If you use a tool that isn’t on the list, we’ll confirm the connection, the fields you need and the setup scope.

How long until we’re up and running?

Connecting your data takes about 20 minutes, and you can start asking questions within 30. The full historical load takes 24 hours to a couple of days, depending on your data volume, and some sources take longer because of API limits. Most teams use Polar daily within a week and are fully set up within four to six weeks.

Who owns the data? Can we query the warehouse?

You do. Your data lives in its own isolated Snowflake database and is never pooled with other brands. You can get read-only SQL access, connect Power BI or any other BI tool, and export whenever you want. If you leave, your data leaves with you.

Is our data secure? Where is it hosted?

Your data sits in a dedicated Snowflake database on AWS, hosted in the US by default, with EU hosting on request. Polar is GDPR compliant, with a DPA available. Sign-in uses Google with MFA. Our SOC 2 audit is in progress, and our trust center has our penetration tests and security policies.

What support do we get?

Every account gets in-app chat, email support, weekly group onboarding and our help center. Larger accounts get a dedicated customer success manager and a shared Slack channel. Our top plan adds a solutions engineer and a data scientist.

How fresh is the data?

Shopify and the Polar Pixel refresh about every 15 minutes, and ad platforms refresh within the hour. Amazon and a few other sources refresh daily because of their API limits. Each connector shows its last and next sync, so you always know how current a number is.

How do you make sure the AI doesn’t make things up?

Polar’s AI doesn’t write SQL from scratch to guess at your numbers. It runs on a semantic layer, which holds governed definitions for every metric and dimension, including your own. When you ask a question, it picks the defined metric and runs a deterministic query. The same question returns the same number in a dashboard, in Ask Polar or in Claude, and every number links back to the query that produced it.

Do I have to use your AI, or can I use Claude?

You can use both. Ask Polar is built into the platform. The Polar MCP connector lets you query the same governed data from Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible tool on your own AI subscription. Polar is listed in the Claude connector directory.

Can Polar’s AI agents take actions in our ad accounts?

Polar’s agents monitor your data, diagnose issues, recommend fixes and draft the work, like a Klaviyo campaign or a budget change. Nothing changes in your ad platforms or store unless you’ve set up that action and approved it.

Do you do incrementality testing? MMM?

Yes, Polar runs incrementality tests with our team’s support to measure the extra sales your marketing actually drives. How each test is designed and how long it runs depend on your channels, your volume and the decision you’re trying to make. For marketing mix modeling, talk to our team about current scope.

Do you work with agencies, multi-store and multi-currency setups?

Yes. Polar supports multi-store reporting and role-based access, including a connector-only role for clients who need to connect accounts without seeing reports. To keep each client’s data separate, set access permissions explicitly. A saved filter alone doesn’t isolate a client’s data. We’ll confirm currency definitions and conversion rules during setup.

We already have Elevar or server-side tracking. Do we have to replace it?

Not necessarily. The Polar Pixel installs alongside your existing pixels and server-side setup without conflicting with them. If you also want Polar to send conversions to the same ad platforms, we map the event flows and coordinate the switch so nothing is counted twice.

How does the Polar Pixel work? Is it server-side?

Polar collects first-party browser events through Shopify’s App Pixel, and supported headless stores can use our SDK instead. Collection happens client-side. Processing then happens downstream, where we connect customer journeys and calculate attribution. The Pixel uses browser local storage and follows Shopify’s consent settings.

What happens when a shopper declines cookies? Is it GDPR compliant?

Polar integrates with Shopify’s customer-privacy settings. Where consent is required, tracking depends on the shopper’s consent and your store’s configuration. Shopify order reporting is separate from browser tracking, so a missing attribution doesn’t mean a missing sale.
